The date for GLYC 2010 is April 24. GLYC is packed with
preaching during general and breakout sessions. This year we have invited
Jeff Kahl as our general session speaker.
We are excited about changes being planned for this next year. For a number of years the conference has been hosted at Faith Baptist Church in Davison, but
in 2010 the conference will be at Faith Baptist Church in Warren, MI. In the coming weeks there will be information posted with
details
about other changes for the conference. Make sure to look for them.
The conference
is for both junior and senior high
teens. The senior high and junior high will be together for the two
general sessions, but be separate for breakout sessions, activities
and lunch. Signed permission forms are required for each teen the
all-day conference. Permission forms will be made available for download
online soon.
Senior High - The
senior high track features two general
sessions and two breakout sessions. Lunch for the senior high
includes an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet where several local pizzerias bring
their "best of the best" in a contest to win the title of "The Big Cheese."
Check back soon for information about the afternoon activities being
planned. Teens will be able to choose one
activity on a first come, first served basis. Sign up sheets for the
activities will be available at registration, so be sure to arrive early!
Junior High - The
junior high track also features two general sessions and two breakout
sessions. Lunch will be an all-you-can-eat pepperoni pizza buffet. Check
back soon for information about the afternoon activities being planned.
**Sponsors are welcomed and
encouraged to participate in any and all activities during GLYC 2010.
Registration - We ask
that you pre-register for GLYC 2010 by Friday, April 9. This will be very helpful to us in planning
for the best possible day for your teens. You can download the registration form here. On the day of the conference, registration will take place from
9:00-9:30am and walk-ins will be accepted. The first session of the day begins at 9:30am and the
conference concludes at 5:30pm.
Cost - The cost for the day
is $17 for senior high (9th-12th grades) teens, $15 for junior high
(7th & 8th grades) teens and $10 for each sponsor. The cost for the conference covers everything throughout the day including
lunch and the activities.
