Speaker Bios

Jeff Kahl  After nearly 20 years of camp ministry in Wisconsin, the Lord led Jeff Kahl to Camp CoBeAc in 2002. His desire to see the camp grow, coupled with his vision for camp ministry, has brought about tremendous change in the facilities and camper attendance, and several new camper programs have been added. He and his wife, Carol, have three children.

Bryan Tanis Bryan grew up attending a Baptist church, and was saved at the age of twelve at a summer Bible camp. God continued working in his life and while attending Bible college he surrendered to whatever God would have for him. After graduating from Maranatha Baptist Bible College, he was called into the Gospel ministry. He and his wife Pat have two children. Pastor Bryan served as a youth Pastor for thirteen years, and in the office of Student Ministries at Maranatha Baptist Bible College for six years. He is currently serving as the Outreach and Children’s Pastor at Faith Baptist Church, Warren, MI.

Josh Burkholder Josh is the Program Director at Camp CoBeAc. He graduated in 2008 with a degree in Biblical Counseling and is pursuing a Masters in Bible. He worked on Program staff in 2008 cementing his desire for camp ministry. He currently oversees the various programs and activities that go on at camp. Josh also represents the camp at many different youth conferences around the country.

Jon Vandenberg Jon has served in various ministry positions for nearly 20 years, ten of which he spent as a youth pastor here in Michigan. In early 2006, the Lord led him to join the Camp CoBeAc staff. His wife, Jamé, and two girls, Johanna and Danaé, enjoy helping with the camp ministry, and they all enjoy singing together as a family.
